This has been the busiest week of my life! It’s finally Friday, which means it’s the weekend, but my work still doesn’t end here…. I need to write an article for the newspaper, finish putting the paper together, write an essay, and finish my post- and pre-lab assignments by the end of the day, because my family is coming to visit tomorrow! Yay! Lots to do!
Anyway, here’s what I wore this past Wednesday. I went 100% professional and LOVED it. I love each of these pieces so much, so wearing them all together was a blast.
Shirt: Gap | Blazer: Evan Picone | Scarf: Calvin Klein | Pants: J. Crew | Purse: Liz Claiborne | Shoes: Anne Klein
After a long night of doing homework, I woke up for my 8am class only to find a cloudy, rainy day. I thought about putting on some yoga pants, but then I decided that a pair of jeans wouldn’t take any extra effort (since one must wear clothes to class anyway). I threw some of these pieces together ten minutes before I was to go out the door, then perfected it after class. It’s kind of girly-meets-punk, plus an umbrella.
Shirt: New York and Company | Jeans: H&M | Jacket: Guess Los Angeles | Necklace: Charlotte Russe | Boots: Xhilaration | Purse: Nine West | Umbrella: Totes
I walked out the door to meet my boyfriend before class, as I usually do, and he greeted me with, “You’re representing your people today!” I’m 1/16 Native American, so I see where he’s coming from, but I think he’s mostly just silly. The cinched sleeves and lace detailing are what I love most about this top. My shoes are pretty fun, too. Simple and chic for a Monday morning!

I didn’t make it to church this morning, but I did have a chance to wear something kind of nice this evening. I took a simple sundress that I bought in ninth grade and paired it with a fall-colored sweater to bring it into the season. The belt matched my shoes, so I went for it. Nothing too fancy, but look at that rosy cheek! That’s so lovable. And so is the side of my poster that made it into the picture. Dorm room life – What can I say?
Dress: No Boundaries | Sweater: Loft | Belt: Xhilaration | Shoes: Miss America
Today I went into town and took a few photos for newspaper class. Not much excitement was planned for the day, and the sun was shining but it was a little windy, so I went with my boots and a homemade scarf for a more casual look. Here I am with my baby, my CanonT2i (thanks, boyfriend!), taking a lovely mirror pic. Oh, how I love those cinder blocks.
Lady Gaga t-shirt: Changes | Jacket: Christopher & Banks | Infinity scarf: DIY | Jeggings: Mossimo Supply Co. | Combat boots: Xhilaration | Purse: The Sak
For my first post and our sleepy, halfway-through-the-week work day (or school day, if you’re in college like I am), I decided to wear something a little bold to give myself a pick me up. Red paired with polka dots is just what I needed, along with a coral lip and matching nails, of course.
Polka dot peplum top: Charlotte Russe | Skirt: H&M | Patent leather stilettos: Candie’s | Coral lipstick: Coral Crush, Maybelline Color Sensational
